Take a stroll around Milan's town square, and you'll be hard-pressed to find anything that doesn't have Robert "Bob" Bickley's fingerprints on it.
In fact, many say it's hard to imagine Milan without him. But at 76, after a more than 50 years in local politics, the man known for his iconic cowboy hat is riding off into the sunset.
Bickley will no doubt stay involved, but he has a new set of priorities. He's simplifying his life, selling some of his assets and spending time with his son in North Carolina and daughter in Ashland.

You do not have to like the hat or the boots, but do you think you could show respect to the man as he retires from a lifetime of something he truly loved and cared about?
