Take MOM to jail   Maybe she will get it.  Get the kid up early enough to catch the bus, if not take him.  It's your kid, you feed, water and educate it.

Another case that stupidity should be against the law, that way the sherriff could have arrested her on the spot and taken the kid to juvie hall. That way he could be to school on time every day.

You have to be kidding me!!!! The mom calls the sheriff because her son wouldn't get out of bed? First, make sure he gets to bed earlier. Take away the TV, or games. If he still doesn't get up, take him to school and walk him to his class. The embarassment will get him up the next time. How old is this kid anyway. If he is older, you might have already let the habit go to long. He needs a schedule.
