Local police respond every day to heated and unusual situations. The following is one item pulled from the daily police blotter.

ERIE COUNTY SHERIFF 
SUNDAY, JAN. 29

8:40 p.m. — 12800 block Wikel Road, Milan, woman got drunk while watching her children, woman’s mother found out what was going on, came to get children, woman refused to let mother take children until deputies came, deputies found mother had a 0.202 percent BAC, took pictures of empty beer cans scattered about; Malisa Rinehart, 32, endangering child.

That wasn't a BABY. She claims SIDS but he was too old for SIDS in my opinion. She needs them kids taken away!

this same women had a small infant DIE in her care.INVESTIGATE!! The  BABY died in the same wikle rd home.

This isn't a funny one, so I won't bother.  Why do people think it is ok to get tanked while watching kids?  Its not something you want your children to learn, is it?

How shameful of her to become so intoxicated that she puts the kids in danger.  I wouldn't leave her alone.  good thing Grandma has some brains.  Obviously, she knows her daughter does not.  At least she is willing to take the kids to a safe haven and remove them from harm. 

I hope childrens' services gives them to grandma and keeps Mama at arms length or allows her only to see those kids under supervised visits.  Obviously, Mama needs some help.

Can you say AA?

Here again, a grandmother taking on the responsibilty of making sure the children are safe. Again, no mention of a father coming to take care of the children. What is up with some of the parents today? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, make sure you are adult enough to care for children before you have any.
