Ruth V. Dircks, Aug. 26, 1913-July 6, 2011

Ruth V. Dircks passed away Wednesday morning, July 6, 2011, in Western Reserve Masonic Home, Medina, Ohio, where she resided for the last six years.

She was born Aug. 26, 1913.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Dircks. They previously lived in Huron, where they raised their family and owned and operated Dircks Jewelry for more than 30 years. Ruth owned a rock and gem shop in Huron for 15 years prior to retiring to Arizona. She enjoyed crafts, especially crocheting and needlework.

She is survived by her children, Lyn (Jean), Lehr (Marcia), Karen (Alvin), Lon (Gloria) and Loren (Della); and by her sister-in-law, Joyce Leibach of Sandusky. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m., Friday, July 15, in the Western Reserve Masonic Community chapel.
