MARGARETTA TWP.

A Castalia woman was hospitalized Tuesday night after a brutal one-vehicle rollover crash on Ohio 2.

Hallie E. Wiedle, 19, was traveling westbound at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday night on the Ohio 2 entrance ramp from Ohio 101 when she lost control of her vehicle.

She slid off the lest side of snow, went across the grass and through all lanes of traffic, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol press release.

The vehicle — a blue 2009 Pontiac G6 four-door sedan — then struck a small embankment of snow, flipped the car and it came to rest in the median, the release said.

Wiedle, who was wearing her seatbelt, "complained of a lower-back injury" and was transported to Firelands Regional Medical Center, the release said.

She was issued a citation for failure to control her vehicle.

On my way home last night from work I almost wrecked my car twice getting on rt 2 from rt4 and getting off rt 2 to rt 6. Those ramps needed plowed and salted very badly.  I'm sure that if two ramps are bad they are all pretty bad. It was very scary and I'm very thankful that I was able to keep control.

There are many stories of unusual activity near the Route 2 / 101 interchange.  Supposedly, it has to do with the effects of Cold Creek which runs beneath this area.  Besides never freezing, it has strange and unexplained electro-magnetic properties.  It is all very hush, hush.  Jesse Ventura has been in the area asking questions so it may not be secret much longer.

What's with all these rollover accidents?  Are the roads not being cared for enough or are these people driving too fast for conditions?    Hope she pulls through ok.
