A volunteer fireman has been accused of stealing $23,000 from the Marblehead Volunteer Fire Department Association. Joshua A. Grimm, 32, has not yet been charged, but Danbury police said he admitted that he stole $23,000 to help pay family bills after he lost his job.
- Federal prosecutors charged Trudy Wright, 55, of Collins, with embezzlement in March for allegedly stealing from the U.S. Postal Service. The former postmaster at a post office in Birmingham, Ohio, that closed after a fire, Wright allegedly stole a $1,000 postal money order, according to the U.S. District Attorney’s office in Toledo.
- A former supervisor at KeyBank in Huron was sentenced in March to two years in federal prison for embezzling $405,600 from the bank. Diane Lantz, 58, of Plymouth was also ordered to pay back the money authorities said she embezzled during a seven-year period.
- The former Erie County deputy treasurer was accused this spring of stealing thousands in county funds. Tamara Holeton, 41, pleaded not guilty to the charges. State auditors are nearing the end of their investigation to determine precisely how much money Holeton allegedly stole.
- A Bassett’s Market employee who admitted to stealing more than $5,000 was sentenced in July to 11 months in prison. Castalia resident Jodi Gilliam, 52, publicly admitted she took the money because she has a gambling problem, for which she’s sought treatment.

It's almost unbelieveable that Attorney Baumgartner was charged with stealing her own vehicle. And her former client, Krista Harris, was charged with stealing monies from her own bank account.
And yet, those idiots can't even take the case to the grand jury on Tamar Holeton. Something sure smells fishy with this one.
By the way, I wonder why Tamar was only charged with one count of theft, unlike Ms. Harris who was falsely charged with 11 counts of theft in violation of Ohio Revised Code Section 2913.61(C)(1).
I get it now, the law doesn't apply to minorities...................right Buff?

Stealing is stealing and it does not matter what the reasons. How can going to prison be a choice? Oh wait, at least there he'll get the basics while his family is humiliated, left to fend for themselves and forever shamed by his actions.

Has not been charged? Where is the Ottawa County prosecutor? This fireman must have friends in high places. He even admitted to stealing.
