When will Jimmy John's near the hospital open?

What the hold up is on the new Jimmy John's? I have noticed that there has been no progress on the building in the last month or so. Every time I drive by Firelands Regional Medical Center, there is nothing going on. Matt in Sandusky

Will the garden clock in Washington Park get updated?

I've been noticing that the year on the clock in downtown Sandusky at Washington Park still states "2012." In years past, they have changed it in a decent amount of time. Does the city not have a "3" to make it "2013"? Bryan from Sandusky

Why don't Erie County inmates pick up trash?

I noticed that some areas are cluttered with trash. Does Erie County not allow their inmates to be taken out to pick up the trash, like chain gaings? If not, why? They get to sit on their butts with amenities and three meals a day. Put them to work and clean up the community. Ang on Alpine Drive

Why aren't the missing kayakers considered "missing?"

Nobody has found either one of the missing kayakers in the lake after authorities and others have searched the entire area. There's no proof of them being in the lake. Why aren't authorities treating this as a missing persons case and distributing their information to other cities and states? Kristy in Sandusky

Is there a bowling alley underneath the Sandusky State Theatre?

I'm new to the area, and I've been bowling at a few of the alleys in the area. After swapping stories with many of the locals, I've heard that there's a bowling alley under the Sandusky State Theater. Is there any truth to that? Would they ever consider fixing and opening it back up? Jon from downtown Sandusky

Where are our recycling materials going?

There is talk among the citizens that these recyclables are not making it to the places that re-use them. We are concerned and want the recycling process to truly deliver the products to a repurposing facility. Where are the recycling centers used by Erie County, and where are our recyclables going?
