Where are the area's best fishing spots?

I'm wondering where some good places are to fish? Lisa on Tiffin Avenue

Rather than suggesting where we believe are good fishing spots, we'll turn this question over to our readers.

Feel free to chime in in the comment section below about where you believe are the area's best fishing spots are.

The Mailbag is a daily feature on sanduskyregister.com. Each weekday at noon, we will post one question from a reader and answer it. To ask a question, send a letter to The Mailbag at 314 W. Market St., or email mailbag@sanduskyregister.com. Please include your first name and a location in the email, e.g. “John from Decatur Street."

The wastewater facility on Harrison is a good spot.

Please contact your local Republican Nat'l Committee Office. They are always on a fishing expedition for false scandals.

Typical liberal, takes a story unrelated to politics and turns it into an attack. Very mature.

Pay no mind to Coasternut. He is just a senile old fart with nothing better to do with his time.

Darwin's choice

As an avowed obama buttmuncher, coasterfan has to spew venom, look who he is in bed with! Lets list some of the current failures that he keeps trying to deflect.....
VA scandal.....letting our soldiers die!
IRS scandal....Watch out Americans...!
obamacare.....just a complete failure!!
Well, there's plenty of crappy there!

Pterocarya frax...

There's truth in coasterfan's statement ( that was funny).

Crayon eaters such as youself are the reason our country is in shambles.

Crayon eaters ? That's a nutty thing to say.

"If you give a man a fish you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish you feed him for a lifetime."
Unfortunately, Liberals do not even want to learn to fish and just want to leech off everyone else.

If you give a man a fish you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, He will always be out fishing and drinking beer.

With this regime, if fish were lies and scandals they would be jumping into the boat.... Then of course the democrappers would jump ship, tax the fish and send Susan Rice out with the fish story that got away on the Sunday morning talk circuit. Back to the original question, best place to catch fish? In a body of water.

Too bad she can't get a straight answer! I'd head down to the old bay bridge or to Shoreline Park. Hope you get some more responses and not a bunch of political BS.

My spots are South of Rattlesnake, North of Mouse, and the pier at Catawba State Park. Bay Bridge is also a good spot as "LNJ4A" has said.

Resthaven is a nice spot.

Call John with the Clevelander II boat. It is only $30 for a 6 hour tour and you can rent poles. Everytime I go out with him I come home with a lot of fish.
