UPDATE: What's up with the old Cool Waves building?

A revamped answer to Tuesday's Mailbag

Several readers indicated to us that we misinterpreted what property a person was talking about in Tuesday's Mailbag.

Sandusky chief planner Rebecca Corrigan said a restaurant called Tokyo Rock, a hibachi-style restaurant, is going into the property located at 1934 Cleveland Road. The 3,000-square-foot building was purchased by Benny Yang, who will operate the restaurant.

The Mailbag is a daily feature on sanduskyregister.com. Each weekday at noon, we will post one question from a reader and answer it. To ask a question, send a letter to The Mailbag at 314 W. Market St., or email mailbag@sanduskyregister.com. Please include your first name and a location in the email, e.g. “John from Decatur Street."

I'm pleasantly surprised. Thank you, for the update, and also for going the extra mile. It says a lot about the Sandusky Register.

The Don

It does say a lot about the Sandusky Register. That they need the readers to look into things for them so then they can re report it correctly!! Why do actual work. They just write whatever they want! Why don't they report that the Sandusky Register building was recently purchased and is currently being renovated into a vibrant living space for senior citizens. LMAO!!

We reported that about our building already, the series of stories is HERE

Oh, wait a minute, was that sarcasm from The Don?
