When will Sandusky Steel's recycling drop-off center open?

I'm always looking for places to take my plastics and other recycling material to. I remember Sandusky Steel was going to open a drop-off center. What's going on with that? Karen in Sandusky

Sandusky Steel president Steve Lichtcsien said the new facility will open soon but didn't provide a specific date.

The center, located adjacent to the complex on 1943 Milan Road, "is designed to be a fast and efficient way for customers in cars, pickup trucks and vans to efficiently drive-thru and drop off all types of scrap iron, metals, cans and paper products," Lichtcsien said. "We will be paying for the metals and providing a free drop-off site for cardboard and paper."
