What's going in next to Olive Garden?

What is being built next to Olive Garden? — Crystal from Norwalk

We already answered this question in September, but that was awhile ago so we'll give it another go. The construction you're seeing next to Olive Garden is a new LongHorn Steakhouse. The building should be about as big as the Ryan's adjacent to the property. We don't have a projected opening date but keep an eye out for updates as construction progresses.

Good timing. Outback just lost 3 of their chefs and the food is not nearly as good as it had been!
Guarantee a lot of their customers will start going to Longhorn once it opens..

(Not saying it's a good thing- I never cared for Outback, probably won't like Longhorn. Just saying good timing on Longhorn's part.)

Outback doesn't have any chefs. What are you talking about?

Longhorn is great, please do not judge without giving it a try
Have only eaten at one, in Columbus, was very good.

We already have the Outback. We need a Denny's or IHop. Or bring one to Norwalk, with the choices we have in Norwalk anything would be a plus.

I'm still surprised there is not a Chik-Fil-A in Sandusky. Great food, only draw back is that it's not open Sundays, which would be an ideal money making day during the summer. Longhorn isn't all that good and IMO overpriced. Red Robin or Piada (look it up if you don't know) would have also been great quick and affordable choices.

Longhorn is not expensive. If you have gone to Outback you would see that actually Longhorn is cheaper than Outback and I think the steaks are better at Longhorn. Can't wait for it to open and I'm sure it will busy!

Longhorn is awesome food for a fair price. Go to the 1 in Columbus all the time. Tear down that food trough called Ryan's and make a bigger Longhorn.
