Can you tell me about the student-run restaurant at Vangard?

When is the student-run restaurant open at Vanguard and what food do they serve? — Sean from Sandusky

The student restaurant at Vangard Tech Center, 1306 Cedar St., Fremont, actually opens this week. The hours are 10:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. It is open to the public, and the prices are very affordable. I talked to the culinary arts instructor, Russ Markwith, and he said guests should be aware the restaurant is closed next week because of the holiday, but will reopen the following week. If you want to be sure the restaurant is open the day you choose to go, you can call 419-334-5690.

Markwith was kind enough to send me the fall menu. I've posted it here for you to check out.
