Updated Trick-or-Treat times

In Monday's Mailbag, we gave a listing of rescheduled Trick-or-Treat times. Since then, we've had several additions to the list. Here is where it stands:

• Milan has rescheduled its Trick-or-Treat for Saturday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

• Sandusky has changed Trick-or-Treat to the alternate date of Friday 5-7 p.m.

• Norwalk has changed its Trick-or-Treat to Saturday, Nov. 3 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

• Willard has reschedule Trick-or-Treat to Thursday, Nov. 1 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

• Port Clinton has rescheduled Trick-or-Treat until Sunday, Nov. 4 from 5-7 p.m.

• Marblehead has rescheduled Trick-or-Treat to Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

• Berlin Heights Village trick or treat has been moved to Saturday, Nov. 3 from 5-7 pm.

**UPDATED** • The Bayview will have Trick-or-Treat  Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.

• Vermilion Trick-or-Treat has been moved to Sunday, Nov. 4 from 5-6:30 p.m.

The Port Clinton High School Fall Orchestra & Choir Concert will still
take place this evening at 7:30pm in the PCHS Performing Arts Center.

If we get notice of any additional Trick-or-Treat nights being moved, we'll be sure to post a notice here. Notice of Trick-or-Treat cancellations or rescheduling should be sent to news@sanduskyregister.com.

The Mailbag is a daily feature on SanduskyRegister.com. Every weekday at noon, we will post one question-and-answer from a resident. To ask a question, send a letter to The Mailbag at 314 W. Market St., or e-mail mailbag@sanduskyregister.com. Please include your first name and a location in the e-mail, e.g. “John from Decatur Street."

Bayview should have rescheduled the Trick-or-Treat event for a different night, NOT just have canceled it. Think of all the children they have let down, and the parents who have spent money on candy and costumes that will now go to waste. Candy can't be saved for next year!

When is it in Perkins haven't heard anything yet

Wish Huron would reschedule.

Agreed. I don't relish the thought of traipsing through the rain. We may just wait and go to a surrounding city on the weekend.

Same here. Rather disappointed to see Huron hasn't been rescheduled. Maybe it won't be so bad tomorrow. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

What a shame. There couldn't be a worse night to schedule things than Friday when many of us already have other things going on. I'm usually at the door in costume to greet the neighborhood kids on what is my own favorite holiday. This year, my porch light won't be on. Sorry, kids!

google me

Huron doesn't set the date. The neighborhoods do. Huron just suggests it.
