West side Dollar General moving

Followup to yesterday's Venice Road and Tiffin Avenue question

The Dollar General Sore at the Westgate Plaza is moving -- across the street to the corner of Tiffin Avenue and Venice Road.

The store has been at Westgate since 1983.

cvs would be the only store in the shopping center never seems to have many customers, their sales they have just aren't that good. if they were booming with business, i wouldn't ask..i would bet they will be going out of business.

how often do you go INTO cvs? just like the dollar store there are alot of walkers. I frequent cvs alot as i have many prescriptions i need filled and there is always a line at both the pick up and the drop off lines at the pharmacy everytime i go. There may not be a bunch of people shopping the aisles but i believe the they are doing ok in drug sales heck that alone probably cove a big portion of their sales anyway at any drug store

The car wash was razed last week. So they would have to build a new facility.

Still will be a lot of walkers going to the store, hope they adress the need for sidewalks ,pedestrian right of ways, gonna be busy.
