Kathy Jean (Duncil) Likes, 51, of Huron, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, Feb. 2, 2012, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.

Kathy was born Aug. 8, 1960, in Sandusky. She was a graduate of Huron High School, and worked for many years as the head housekeeper at EconoLodge.

She was a member of Huron Eagles. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, listening to country music, being around her friends and watching her nephews race go karts.

Kathy is survived by three daughters, Amanda (Steve Motry) Likes, Melissa Likes, and Sarah (Aaron Kubas) Likes, all of Huron; her mother Kay Gosa, of Huron; her father Blaine (Helga) Duncil, of Blissfield, Mich.; three sisters, Sherry (Rick) Good, of Memphis, Tenn., Sandy (Mark) Vanderlan, of Deerfield, Mich., and Angela (Jeff) Bunch, of Deerfield; brother Terry (Cathy) Duncil of Lemoore, Calif.; five grandchildren, Steven, Alyssa, Caleb, Haley and Hannah; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father George Gosa; maternal grandparents, Roy and Gladys LeVally; and paternal grandparents, Boyd and Nell Duncil.

Friends will be received 3-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at Groff Funeral Home and Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4. The Rev. Ken Hiser will preside. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
