Girl Scouts teach and learn at Old Woman Creek NERR

Girl Scouts from the Lorain County Troop 51-123's were teaching other scouts at learning centers set up at the Old Woman Creek State National Estuarine Research Reserve on Saturday. The Huron Troop 53 was learning about Ohio's wetland wildlife with presentations by the Lorain troop. The program continues Sunday with girl scouts from the Huron Troop 50-517 leading the classroom learning stations for the program Ohio's Wetland Wildlife--the Good, The Bad, and the Invasive! The program will be open to the public from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The program includes an Eastern Fox Snake Break from 2 to 2:30 p.m. and a feeding of the Visitor Center Animals from 3:30-4 p.m.
