That looks like one of the most stupid waste of time and money ever! Is there any explanation why this was done? I hope my hospital bill is less next time if they have so much extra money to pay for a stupid stunt like this.
The vehicle was put into the new rehab area, so that it can be used for patients' therapy. (It's not so easy to climb in and out of a vehicle after you've had a stroke!) I believe the vehicle was donated by Kasper, and doesn't have an engine in it. Hope it doesn't seem like such a colossal waste to you now!
Excellent. Thanks for setting that D-bag straight. I hope that karma puts that taint sniffer behind the wheel of that vehicle someday.
Screw you. I hope you pull your head out of your arse someday.
Thank you for the information. It does change my opinion.
Would have been nice to have some text with the photos to explain what's going on....... Come on SR!!!
"Would have been nice to have some text with the photos to explain what's going on....... Come on SR!!!"
I agree. Looking at just photos and no story, I figured that it was some kind of publicity stunt. I have never been in a PT Cruiser but I know that some people have problems getting into a car low to the ground or climbing up into a SUV or pickup truck. The whole car without an engine seems like an over-kill plus use of the crane.
There were much simpler alternatives.
"A car body located inside, beyond the courtyard, allows patients to practice getting in and out of all four doors and loading and unloading items from the trunk."
So you're an expert on THIS subject, too? Why am I not surprised? Was it the voices in your head, oops I mean "the spirits", that led you to know it all?
BrASSman, another troll and flamer. Brassman is also a strong supporter of the Perkins Local School Levy. I have also noticed that many Democrats are trolls and flamers posting comments here. Just because I post many links doesn't mean that I know everything. I inform and educate myself because I never stopped learning.
Take a bow brassman. Because of your comments and trolling and flaming activities, I will help the "NO" voters much more than I did in the past.
Take a bow brassman.
I'm a Republican :)
Centauri gets real angry when he gets 'outted'.
I don't really get angry. I sometimes act out getting mad.
I get even.
Outted? I have been known to "out" trolls and flamers.
You're all talk. I've yet to see you "out" anyone.

"I live in Perkins, my kids go to Perkins, all my nieces and nephews go to Perkins, so of course I am pro-levy. I always support all levies. They are for the good of our community and our schools."
So, what's your point? I'm still a Republican.
After having many types of surgeries it can be difficult to get in and out of a car as well. I had knee replacement surgery - well several in the end - and getting in and out of the car seemed nearly impossible. My oldest nephew also broke his leg several years ago and in the beginning he needed to be taken back and forth to his doctor's appointments via ambulance/transport because he wasn't able to bear any weight on his leg but when he finally was again getting in and out of the car took a lot out of him. It may seem like something you don't think anything of but when you need it, it can be really disheartening when you can't do it like you've done a hundred times before.
And Eph I agree, a note along with the pictures would have been nice to know what exactly was going on.
Let us hope that they donated the engine to Sandusky High school for auto shop 101.
I think I have the right to not only know, but also to tell them what to do. At least until they cover me with dirt...
Well said , Mr. From the Grave
By just seeing pictures it would lead a person to think it was a waste of money, but since it's been clarified by someone, then it makes sense... but it just goes to show you how quickly people jump to conclusions and comment about things based on ZERO info and merit.
Absolutely! Anything we communicate will be twisted according to the mind it enters and their mental machinations.
This has got to cost a pretty penny. No wonder we are charged so much when visiting the hospital.
