Even though it looked like total chaos from the air with all the boats surounding the tall ships it was truly amazing to see so many people Show up for this event just to celibrate local Ohio history. I was in the B25 during the flyover with some of the other media taking pictures. Even though I was flying over for just a short time seeing the incalculable amount of vessels, words and pictures just cannot describe the view.
If people can come together for such a grand event to honor the British, Canadians, and Americans who served, suffered, and died for their nations then this truly is an age of international peace between our countries.
Unfortunately albeit in the best interest in safety, restrictions were in effect limiting the altitude that aircraft could fly over the event making it difficult to get really good aerial photos. I would have expected perhaps some more interesting shots from helicopter if any had applied for a waiver with the FAA to cover the event. It would be nice to find a site where more pictures were shared. I saw some great pics and videos back at the bay on various equipment used by the spectators.
