How about a few more photos of the crash? Great shot of one of the victims personal belongings. This paper has no heart. I know this girl and this coverage makes me sick.

I posted more photos of the crash as one of the troopers at the scene asked I take plenty of photos as I have a better camera and they might look at some of the photos as part of the investigation into what happened.

The photo of the personal belongings was to document the cell phone in the back seat of the car. If this was a case of texting and driving, which I have covered many crashes as a result of, I wanted to make sure we had a photo of the phone.

This paper doesn't have a heart, it is a newspaper, but I assure you the people that work here do. We don't enjoy going out to the scene of a crash, but if our coverage keeps one person from making the same mistake as the girl you know then we have done our job.

Yes, the other article states they were transporting cars for a rental agency, or that they worked for an agency. Not that that would have anything to do with the accident.

I'm still trying to figure out why the Tahoe's tire marks look as if he went off the road and back on before the collision.

BigB if you read the artical the driver in front of the tahoe said he had to take evasive action to get out of the way of her car...those are probably from him.

YUP123, I read it. If those were the tire marks from the lead driver then the Pontiac wasn't in motion. How could the lead driver return to the road at the same point where the collision took place? Think about it, the lead car passes the Pontiac first but the Pontiac has to continue north before impacting the Tahoe. They are not from the lead car. The Tahoe started to take evasive action but returned to the road before impact, possibly as a result of losing control from the freezing rain that morning. It doesn't mean he was at fault, just an unusual observation. I hope they both recover soon.
