The nest was destroyed when it fell near the Old Dutch Tavern and the manmade nest was constructed by partners Gary Toll and Barry Riddle. They found donors of materials and
manpower from Firelands Electric Cooperative, A. T. Emmett Electric, Galloway Brothers, and Speer Brothers Excavating to
raise the 50-foot pole with a nesting platform on September 1, 2009. A crowd of well-wishers from the Friends of Pipe Creek, Friends of Old Woman Creek - who were able to assist in arrangements - and others cheered when the eagles’ new home was installed among the cottonwood trees.

That's great!
This is wonderful. I wonder if it's the same pair of eagles that nested there before or if it's a new pair.
Oh boy! Mmmmm Mmmmm odd item of the week!
