The same families that use New Day services give back when they can. It’s an opportunity to give to the community and neighbors. Donations for funding and goods are encouraged. The center can always use monetary assistance for programs and donations for food. Donations of good clothes, especially cold weather items such as thermal underwear and heavy socks, also accepted. Volunteers — lots of them — also are needed. Construction and building repair skills, child monitors and others.
Visit the center at Finch and Warren streets (former Sandusky Alliance Church); call 419-626-8730; or logon to www.newdayfrc.com. For more on the center, pick up a copy of Friday's Register.

Good question Donutshopguy. I added some information. Thanks for jumping in Dora and Nor'easter.
Is there any funding through the government like grants and ect. ? If it's local people helping local people than its peeked my interest. If it's already being subsidies by city, state or federal funding than I'm already paying for it and I'm not interested.
The only people helping this effort are local individuals and local charitable community foundations.
Programs like this do a lot of good not just for the kids but the parents too! I will be sure to donate a few family games to them to support this effort.
Did You Know Children do not automatically know How to Play?
