Isnt this kind of a hippa violation to take pictures of these people giving blood. Just curious

Taking or posting photos of people who are participating in a public event is not a HIPAA violation. The only way the SR could have come close to violating HIPAA was if the photographer took pictures of the personal information within the screening/interview cubicles.
