A massive tree floated into the Huron Boat Basin and Amphitheater sometime sometime early Tuesday — a direct result from area damage suffered from Superstorm Sandy. The city of Huron's workers will likely hire a crew — for less than $1,000, according to estimates — to remove the tree and clear the water of all other debris.
The debris didn't affect the minnow fishing for Carl Stillwell and Jeff Pfeiffer Thursday morning at the basin.

Ah, something else to watch being removed from that tourist attraction.
