Topsee needs to see a Vet and Groomer. What do they do at the dog pound besides feed and water them? Anything?
Then maybe you should adopt her? Other than her nails needing trimmed, I see nothing wrong. But she certainly isn't an american eskimo. She looks much more like my elderly jack russell.
Not everyone can adopt a dog. I wish I could. I take it you didn't look at the dogs back leg?? Plus it looks ill, and needs a bath. I support the Huron County Humane Soceity Shelter with money and goods. I do what I can, do you?
Somebody really has to do something about this spam, SARAH?
Excuse me?
Okay 2 things, first of all you would think they'd take better pictures of these animals in a nicer setting and not next to the UPS guy and definitely not blurry! Secondly, at least groom them somewhat, make them look presentable, after all nobody wants to adopt a dirty looking dog. You can see eye boogers on some of these dogs. Some of them even look a little scared! Poor babies, bless their hearts.
What was so wrong with my comment that it needed to be deleted?
Since you people on here want to comment about stuff you obviously have no idea of what you are talking about I will let you in on some facts about the Erie County Dog Pound.

Have you ever been into the dog pound before why you are on here assuming that they do nothing but feed and water the dogs that come in there? These dogs are treated like royalty; the kennels are clean; their bedding is clean. So talking about things you have no idea about is just retarded. Only people that have nothing better to do with their time like you would subject themselves to making these comments. Others who care about these dogs come into the pound and volunteer their time to not only play with these dogs but to walk them as well. Maybe you should get up from you computer desk and take a tour of the pound!
Fireland's Animal Hospital in Huron provides all their services to Barb Knapp and her dogs. If you would like you are more than welcome to call Mary Ann and she will discuss her contract that she has with the pound. Here is the number to ease your mind (419) 433-6210.
If people would take the time to understand what goes into caring for a dog than Topsee would not look the way that she did and when I say did I mean did. Her hair is growing back because she went in to see Mary Ann and she was treated for her skin issues. When dogs come from a scuzzy home these are the results.

Before you even made that comment about Topsee being a elderly Jack Russell; did you have your glasses on because clearly you have no idea bout breeds. But I will help you out as well since you have no idea what you are talking about. Here's a link to help you differ the two because you are way off!

A UPS man really? Have you ever seen the uniforms that the dog warden and her deputies even wear? Obviously not because if you did than you would know that the "UPS man" behind her is a deputy of the warden's office. Make statements that you can provide facts to or do not say anything at all! As for grooming; she had skin issues and there was no way of providing her with these services because the pain that she would be in due to the scum she was living with. You are more than welcome to talk to Chelsea Dog Grooming; they take care of all of the animals at the Dog Pound.
Scared, well yes they are scared because their pathetic so called "owner's" threw them on the side of the road like trash and they are confused and do not understand why someone they loved would do this to them.
It has been my pleasure to provide facts about the Erie County Dog Pound because obviously you people have never been in their a day in you lives and have no idea what you are talking about. For those of you how would like to take a tour or volunteer your time and walk a dog instead of bad mouthing the 1 person that has been providing a shelter, food and love for the past 35 years; they are opened Monday thru Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.
I call myself a dog lover because I am.
