hey realtalk,,,,its not just the elderly ...i see 20 30 40 50 somethings driving like they are going to a fire...what gives ....i drove to a football game at perkins and at 55 mph ...( i should of been doing 45 cause the rain) cars where up my yang trying to pass ..on rt 4 by strawberry hill all the way to the pump ,,i think they were all between 20 and 40 yrs old ...hmm

It isn't the intersection, its the drivers. Nothing is going to fix that but driving skills. Either you know when to stop or you don't. The State of Ohio cannot fix people and their ability to understand Red light, yellow light, green light. This is why we need to impliment testing for people over the age of 65 if that is what happened here.

In drivers' ed many years ago, we had to watch a movie by The Dept. of Highway Safety, the movie was called Signal 30. Perhaps everyone needs to watch it when renewing their operator's license. Watch it on you tube, see if you agree.

I remember that movie. I also remember a football player fainting dead away at my feet when we watched it. lol Everyone should be made to see that.

Watched it over 40 yrs ago in driver's ed. Still remember that blond head of hair limply dangling to the side when they removed her body.

I dive that road everyday for work. It begs accidents. If you dont try to go around cars you will sit through three light cycles.... go sit and watch....
