Family and friends of Coast Guard Port Security Unit 309 waited to greet their loved ones in Mansfield as they returned from Kuwait Wednesday.

Post 309 deploys from Port Clinton, Ohio. My son in law served in Kuwait to provide security after the USS Cole bombing and also in Mississippi after Katrina, providing security and body recovery.

Welcome back 309, were proud of you and your service. Not to forget those wives and husbands who take care of the home and kids while your away from home.
