Whether you want to take a more family-friendly route with a fishing clinic and Kidfest or are ready for a party, we've got you covered this weekend. Check out an '80s party in Vermilion or a Biker Memorial Party in Sandusky if you want something a little more booze-soaked.

1.)    Family Fishing Clinic

Why you should go: This is a perfect family event to get everyone outdoors. You’ll get pointers and fishing tips straight from the pros on the Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit. The clinic will also be giving out free rods, reels and tackle. Call for more information.

2.)    80’s Party

Why you should go: Come out in your best gear for this radical 80’s party, where you will enjoy karaoke and trivia all night long. There will be contests for best 80’s outfit, best 80’s song of the night and sexiest 80’s outfit (and the chance to win really cool prizes!). Plus, there will be a head-to-head battle royale between the two Masters of Karaoke to top off the evening.

3.)    Antique Show & Flea Market

Why you should go: The first annual Huron River Valley Antique Show & Flea Market will be held at the Huron River Valley Campground on Saturday and Sunday. There will be plenty of vendor tables to check out, collectibles to browse and live entertainment from Rodney & The Regulars at 5:30 p.m. on both days. 4.)    Biker Memorial Party

Why you should go: Can you think of a better way to start off the summer than a Poker Run, barbeque dinners, live entertainment and a huge party? We didn’t think so. The 18th annual Biker Memorial Fund party will have a Poker Run, plenty of delicious food, live entertainment from Jude’s Band, bike games, a corn hole tournament, field events and plenty more. To get in to the party, just wear or bring your Biker Memorial t-shirt (your t-shirt is your ticket and should be in your possession at all times). You can purchase t-shirts at Town Tavern (Clyde), Knucklehead Saloon (Huron), American Legion (Sandusky), Mason Jar, The Pump and Roeder Racing (Monroeville).

5.)    Wightman-Wieber Safety Celebration & Kidfest

Why you should go: A great family-friendly event, the kids will enjoy visiting the Erie MetroParks booth for fun, nature-inspired activities and meet the Bicycle Safety Ranger. There will be canoe and kayak safety demonstrations at Shoreline Park of boarding, debarking and various strokes. There will be contests, games, activities, special guests, music and more for the whole family. Sponsored by the Wightman-Wieber Foundation, Sandusky City Schools, the City of Sandusky, Maritime Museum of Sandusky and the Sandusky Children’s Museum.
