Here at Funcoast.com, we're big believers of kicking off the weekend a little early. Enjoy the Funcoast.com Readers' Choice Awards party tonight at Kalahari, shake things up in Tiffin and enjoy some Irish-themed entertainment just in time for St. Patrick's Day.

1.) Great Lakes Beer Tasting

Why you should go: Why wouldn't you want to try five different Great Lakes Brewing Company beers — with an appetizer to compliment each brew? Try Conway's Irish Ale, Burning River, Dortmunder Gold, Edmund Fitzgerald and Eliot Ness. You can purchase presale tickets at Slater's Madison Street Pub or pay at the door the day of the event. The tasting will take place in the upstairs lounge. Must be 21 to attend.

2.) Three Stooges Fest

3.) O'Malley's Dinner Theater

4.) Friday Night Live at the Ritz Theatre

Why you should go: If you love to listen to a wide range of live music in a relaxed atmosphere, this is for you. The Ritz Theatre hosts this eclectic selection of performers which includes the Heidelberg Singing Collegians, a vocal chamber group performing a variety of musical styles including popular, jazz and Broadway.

5.) 21st Annual Western Reserve Toy Show

Why you should go: Whether you’re a die hard collector or simply love to browse, make it a point to stop at this local toy show. You’ll find all kinds of old and new toys, including train sets, matchbox cars, dolls, action figures, sports cards and more. Lunch is available for an extra cost, and you can enjoy free parking and door prizes.
