Westlake was difficult to battle, especially from the neutral position. They were well-coached and takedowns were not easy to come by.
“Alex Doughty had some really nice attacks and finishes from his feet and Derek Wilson had a nice win,’’ the coach added. “Nick Davis is starting to come into his own and even in his loss to clark (Monroeville), he showed signs of being able to compete against a quality opponent.”
The Truckers are scheduled to compete in the Northern Ohio League duals Friday and Saturday at Willard.
Three rounds will be conducted Friday and four Saturday.
Competition starts at 5 p.m.
