Nancy Lee Gangluff Arnold, 70, of Irving, Texas, for 35 years, died Monday, June 7, 2010, in Baylor Medical Center at Irving.
A former resident of Lima, Ohio, Nancy was born April 24, 1940, in Chatfield, Ohio, daughter of the late Clayton Doyle Gangluff and Marie Alice Homier Gangluff. She grew up and graduated from Sandusky High School. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Sandusky. On April 19, 1968, she married James Edward Arnold in Lima. Employed as a hearing officer for more than 30 years for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, she retired in 1999. Nancy was a member of Irving Heritage Senior Citizens Center and StarTrekkers Walking Club of Irving.
Preceded in death by her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Cindy Schmittauer of Cincinnati and Kelly Wilson of Lewisville, Texas; son, Chad Seymour of Seville, Ohio; stepdaughter, Janet Arnold of St. Petersburg, Fla.; grandchildren, Jennifer Lob, Kyle Seymour, Ryan Schmittauer, Adam Schmittauer, Ashley Schmittauer and Jonathan Wilson; great grandchildren, KyleeAnn, Aiden and Payton; and brothers, Ted Gangluff and Gary Gangluff, both of Sandusky.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 503 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
