Michael J. Casali, 56, of Sandusky passed away Saturday morning, July 31, 2010, in Stein Hospice, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.
He was born June 28, 1954, in Sandusky, son of the late Leo and Mary (Kelley) Casali. He was a 1972 graduate of St. Mary's High School. He worked at Scott Paper until he entered the U. S. Navy. He was employed by Lear Corp. (IAC) from 1996-2007. Mike loved Harley's and collected antique cameras. He was a devoted father.
He is survived by his daughter, Danyelle Casali of Sandusky; sisters, Mary (Richard) Gallegos of Toledo, Patricia (William) Wilson of Sandusky and Karen Mock of Sandusky; sister-in-law, Linda Casali of Cincinnati; special aunts, Joanne Casali and Nita Kelly; good friend, Larry Pitzer; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Casali and an infant brother, Paul; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Helen Kelley; and paternal grandparents, Domonic and Dominica Casali.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Monday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where prayer services will conducted at 8 p.m. Cremation will take place at Mike's request.
