Q. Mailbag, Can someone tell me what the history is of how a Perkins trustee clerk's position became an elected position? All the other clerks in the area are directly under the sole direction of the commissioners and are not elected in. Can the Perkins Trustees change the clerk's position from a non-elected position so the trustees can have better control over her?
