They are images Americans had never seen before. Jubilant young men and women in military uniforms marching beneath a rainbow flag in a gay-pride parade. Soldiers and sailors returning from deployment and, in time-honored tradition, embracing their beloved - only this time with same-sex kisses.
Q: I noticed an old WWII era DC3 airplane all painted up in red white and blue colors and the lettering "Airborne Imaging" on the nose of the plane doing slow circles over the eastern Huron-western Vermilion area. With a name like that on the nose, I'm guessing they were taking photos of the area. The question is who for? Could it be Google earth or some other mapping company? - Doug in Vermilion
