Kendra Ward from Erie MetroParks recently sent me a press release announcing the 500th dog has been registered at the Erie MetroBark Park on Friday, April 3. Coincidentally, I fully registered our dog Calli on that day as well.

The Pulitzer Prizes for journalism were awarded Monday, many of them for investigative stories that required a lot of digging.

This has been my best week (April 13 through April 19) since the first month.

A celebration at the Huron Boat Basin is being planned later this week for Huron resident and acting Sandusky police chief Charlie Sams for successfully finishing the Boston Marathon. 

Sorry for not updating lately.  I've got about a half dozen stories I'd like to tell, but to be responsible they have to reach some point of conclusion.  One of which is the Hacker story.  I think it's an interesting story because it shows how unresponsive the city is when a citizen complains.  T

Bird Claims Local Real Estate Agents Failed To Disclose  Development Plans For Perkins Ave

A few weeks ago the Register ran an editorial about potential leaders in Sandusky.  They went through the list of possible candidates for November's election.  Nowhere in the article did they mention the idea that Sandusky doesn't just need leaders.  They need good leaders.

Thank God for caring people, who are willing to do more than talk. 

Despite the difficult economic times, there are individuals and businesses interested in helping the less fortunate who cannot afford to help themselves. 

The city installed a prototype of its new signage this afternoon at Washington Row and Columbus Avenue.
