"I walked over and asked him where he was from, and I asked him about his accent because he talked so weird,' Denzel said. "By the third day of school, he asked if he could come to my house until his uncle got off from work, and we clicked ever since.' This was the beginning of a friendship Denzel can only treasure through his memories of 18-year-old Charles, who was shot and killed less than two weeks ago in his hometown of New Orleans.

Erie County deputies pulled over a swerving vehicle then sniffed out more than 8 pounds of marijuana in the trunk early Wednesday morning near Fox Road and Ohio 4. Torrence Grissom, 32, and Kinshana Twymon, 33, both of Sandusky, were charged with trafficking in marijuana and possession of marijuana. There were also two children in the car.
