I plan to vote for the Bellevue Public Library tax levy on May 4 because the library saves my family money while fulfilling our individual needs. Keeping our teenager entertained at no cost is not impossible! He always looks forward to Game On! @ BPL, utilizing the free WiFi and searching through the DVD collection.

Well it happened again. I was just into Pat Catan's to check on my classes and rewired a diaper cake again. My boss just called; the diaper cake is gone once again. Maybe if you print this someone may step forward; but that's highly unlikely. You know God does'nt like ugly. Shame on you for taking this diaper cake. I will not do another one. They are not cheap.

I support health care reform for very personal reasons. I hope no other child in this country has to grow up suffering the many illnesses I and other children who lived in poverty without medical care endured -- children whose parents had no insurance, no way to pay for a doctor's visit, and families that never heard of a well child doctor's visit. I would like to respond to the misleading "costs" claimed by Caterpillar, AT&T and other large corporations in response to the health care reform recently passed. Their loss is actually taxpayer money.

Too bad it became, if only briefly, a political football. City Commissioner Julie Farrar had a simple enough idea: a walk of fame of sorts, with bricks commemorating the achievements of local student athletes, in one of Sandusky's numerous parks. For starters, each brick in the walkway would recognize a former state champion.

Gloria Kattouah writes that we are a Christian nation. My acquaintances who are Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist or atheists would strongly disagree with that statement, and would cite the U.S. Constitution for support. We are a nation built upon a foundation of Judeo-Christian laws and tradition, we have religious freedom in our private lives, but we have no established religion. Would Ms.
