Linnie Estep, 87, of Clyde, passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at her daughter’s residence.

She was born Jan. 30, 1924, in Phelps, Ky., daughter of the late Enoch and Laura (Hurley) Booth.

Linnie was a homemaker and a member of Freewill Baptist Church, Clyde.

She married Wesley Estep on March 15, 1945 in Pikeville, Ky., he preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter Linda (Dallas) DeFriece of Clyde; sons, Roger (Evelyn) Estep of Republic and Gary (Diane) Estep of Clyde; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Sidney Booth of Melbourne, Fla., and William Booth of Kermit, W.Va.

In addition to her husband and parents, her brother Orville Booth preceded her in death.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, until a service at 1 p.m. at Foos-Klein Funeral Home, 318 S. Main St., Clyde. Burial will follow at Butternut Ridge Cemetery.
