McPherson Cemetery vandalism info reward continues to grow

The reward for information in the McPherson Cemetery vandalism has ballooned to $7,461.
The vandals caused more than $100,000 damage to the cemetery during three hits last week. They knocked over headstones and destroying flowers and flags. Some monuments more than 150 years old were destroyed. 
 
Clyde police Chief Bruce Gower announced Friday that businesses, clubs and individuals from Clyde and the surrounding area have contributed to the reward fund to help police find the culprits. 
 
Gower said the police department have gotten leads and information that are being investigated, but any information is important, even if it seems small.

I hope the people that did this are caught and given the harshest sentence possible. But knowing what judges sometimes give people that committed crimes like this are not even close to what most of us would give them; I would enjoy seeing them doing a few thousand hours of community service caring for the cemetery, monuments under the direct supervision of the most demanding, picky person possible. The conditions would be its done to the highest standard possible in any weather and any failing would result in jail time or more hours of community service. Teach them a lesson by teaching them to care.

They are nothing more than animals,  whoops!! sorry,  animals have more sense than to destroy a grave/burial site.
