Police say an Ohio man who stuck his 3-year-old son in a clothes dryer as punishment and then turned it on is facing child endangerment charges.
The Zanesville Times Recorder reports that 40-year-old Jamial Bayly is scheduled for a video arraignment Thursday in Cambridge Municipal Court.
Guernsey County Sheriff Michael McCauley says deputies went to the Cambridge home Sunday after getting a tip from family members.
The sheriff says the father acknowledged putting the boy in the dryer earlier in the day. Deputies didn't see any visible injuries on him. McCauley says he doesn't know how long the boy had been in the dryer.
The sheriff says the boy was released to his mother, who wasn't home when deputies arrived.
Cambridge Municipal Court records don't list an attorney for Bayly.

katelih, you make no sense at all.. how many mothers do we see drowning their children?.. not to mention the one who killed her kids in the backyard and stood staring over them.. and the neighbor looks out of the window and sees her staring and comes out to ask if everything is ok.. and the mother just continues staring and says "no, everything is not okay"..

Just another case of a Parent not having the common sense to raise there kids , and yea I am talking about both of them , the father for being so uncaring and the mother for not showing good sense as tl leave the child with him

i think that they scchould put him in jail or prision. rading some of these comets and i agree with some of them .i think people are dumb these days,they need to think befor they do stuff stupid like that. that made me sad and sick to my stumomach when i read that. what i like to know what in the world that kid did to deserve something like that.

I have my punishment for him. Take him to a laundrymat. Place the man in those large dryers and run it on HIGH for thirty minutes. Any metal on him will start to burn him. Depending on the type of clothes he is wearing, he could catch on fire. The heated dryer may give him a few burns, but sounds like a good punishment for what he did.
Now, what in the he** could a kid have done that was that bad?????? Not a thing. Save our nation's oxygen and put a bullet in this guys head.

This is sick if done by a father as punishment to a child but this reminds me....when we were kids, my sisters and I use to do this and laugh our butts off! We'd get in and hold on bracing ourselves, while the others would turn it on. We'd get out dizzy as heck.....Oh, the things we'd come up with on rainy days before cell phones and nintendo. I'm sorry...it's not funny in this case.....and just to clarify, we were only kids, our parents were not home, and only in it for like 1 minute.

Everytime my wife and I see a story like this we get so angry. We would take in every neglected child if we could. We have six of our own but just hate to see children abused.

What in the name of God is wrong with people. Sickening, absolutely sickening. I wish I could take every innocent child out there in this world and put them in one big happy home. It is so sad to hear of stories like this and worse :( Makes me want to cry
