Makes me think of my younger days when I believed everything my kids told me. Now that I am older and they tell me of things they did, it makes me wonder why I was so naive. I am just lucky that they things they did never hurt anyone. Toilet papering, going to a girls house when I thought they were at the library, etc.

I think mom needs to get her head out of the SAND!

If I were the mother of EITHER of these boys...I would demand to have a meeting with all involved. I wouldnt want my son to be punched in the face nor being the kid who punches someone in the face, over some GANG TALK. What did the first boy have in his pockets, anyway ?? I wouldnt let this go. If my kid, came to me with this story, I would feel compelled to get to the bottom of it. The boy told his mom, for a reason. He obviously is either scared or he wants to let his mother know what happened, just in case he gets into trouble for DEFENDING himself ,if / when it happens again.

Ok, you asked a KID who is a gang member if they did it?  Oh, yeah, right. They are sure to admit they beat up another kid.  It is time to put a stop to this right now.  If kids can't find any thing else to do they will do something just like this.

If we want this to stop WE need to stop it.  T

the aggressor should have been brought to the station with his mother, as the victim and his mother.  Put them in a room together while the mothers wait outside and watch thorugh a two way mirror.  Let the two boys interact . It won't be long before you find out the truth.  Case closed.

I blame the City of Sandusky for a lot this.  We have parks the kids are not permitted to play in. We have NO organized after school events for our younger kids.  We have NOTHING.  All because, the city claims, it costs too much.  But we have hundreds of thousands to spend on 'reports of reports" for nonsense.ideas and consults.

When is this city going to wise up?
