Local police respond every day to heated and unusual situations. The following is one item pulled from the daily police blotter. PERKINS POLICE SATURDAY, OCT. 29 7:29 p.m. -- Meadow Lane, John M. Ringer, 20, disorderly conduct and contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child. 16-year-old boy, disorderly conduct. Ringer and the boy were found behind Excuses Louge firing the paintball gun into the air after trick-or-treaters reported they were walking down Meadow Lane, shooting at people's houses. The teen had a black tube of paintballs in his waistband, and officers found more paintballs, a CO2 cartridge and a paintball gun.
