Police Blotter
Local police respond every day to heated and unusual situations. The following is one item pulled from the daily police blotter. PERKINS TWP. POLICE THURSDAY, OCT. 6 6:54 p.m. - 500 block W. Perkins Ave., two men fought in grocery store over faulty car audio system, one punched the other who fell into pickle display, man's nose and several pickle jars broken; John Goodwin Jr., 24, 1900 block Putnam St., disorderly conduct.
