Local police respond every day to heated and unusual situations. The following is one item pulled from the daily police blotter. SANDUSKY POLICE SUNDAY, OCT. 2 3:37 p.m. - 1300 block E. Larchmont Drive, girl punched bedroom door, yelled at parents, girl told police parents gave her "only one banana' and told her she had to wait for dinner, daughter had broken mother's ribs before, mother told police she didn't want charges, just wanted police there before daughter got violent again. For the full daily police blotter from agencies across the area, pick up the Register or check out the e-paper.

The banana is not the problem here...

Here we go again! It is sad that the parents have lost control of their children. This girl needs a good butt whacking. The US has made it so that parents are afraid to discipline their children. The day my child broke my ribs is the day she would not be living in my house. She would be in juvie.

The problem is they need a baby sitter please call Political Correct police

WOW.  My mom would have beat my a.s.s, took the door off the hinges and then not fed me any dinner.  If this was MY daughter about the same would have happened.  I agree with the one post about parents being afraid of discipline.  I have spanked my children, I have popped them on the mouth, I have grounded them and I LOVE THEM.  My children have respect and give respect.  Children are now being force fed the "if anyone hurts you or threatens you call 911"  I will gladly sit a day in jail for disciplining my children rather than have them running the streets as HOODS. People need to take responsibilty for their children and their actions.   I have seen this new generation of "talking about it" parenting and it does NOT work.  Kids know there is no consequence and never learn.  A little fear is a good thing.

Get this kid some professional help and the same for Mom.  Obviously they both need it.

Hey mama, if you don't want the cops to do anything then don't waste their time calling them.
