Local police respond every day to heated and unusual situations. The following is one item pulled from the daily police blotter.
ERIE COUNTY SHERIFF
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 10
1:45 p.m. - 11000 block Mason Road, Vermilion, welfare check, woman hadn't cleaned out her house, clothing, personal items, garbage and food stacked four to 5 feet high in every room, only narrow pathways connected the rooms.

Sounds like 85% of the houses in Sandusky.
hoarding is a very serious mental health issue, and I do not believe that the register should have printed their ALMOST exact address.... I'm sure the people in thier community can narrow it down easily. It will probably make them withdrawl more instead of getting the help they need.

I dont know much about hoarding. Does hoarding include GARBAGE being kept, on purpose?
