9:22 a.m. — 1600 block Central Ave., Halloween dummy molested, owner said dummy had two face masks, when she came outside she found one mask lying in dummy’s lap.

I understand that cops need some mental breaks, comic relief in the routine of fighting crime...but is this really the BEST way to word the blotter? Is this the way the police really had it? And yet AGAIN.......WHY DID SOMEONE CALL THE COPS FOR THIS???? Nothing was stolen? Maybe the mask FELL off?! WOW.
