Local police respond every day to heated and unusual situations. The following is one item pulled from the daily police blotter. SANDUSKY POLICE TUESDAY, AUG. 21 7:49 p.m. - Mills Street, boy scout's trees project cut down by someone wielding hatchet. For the full daily police blotter from agencies across the area, pick up the Register or check out the e-paper.

Now, this is a new low!! (Can't even think of anything else to say!)

And you can BET it wasn't by someone who cannot tell a lie, either.  How dumb do you have to be??

You know, some people simply shouldn't be permitted to set foot outside their own front door. This is so far past shameful I'm not sure there are words for it!

To the Boy Scout: Start again, if you can. Your project sounds like a good one! No matter what someone who obviously has nothing at all going for them might say or do, YOU'RE a citizen this community can be proud to include!

Sam....you are right.  And if ignorance could be the defining reason for keeping someone within the four walls of their own homes, the streets would be much safer indeed.

Yes, the Boy Scouts ARE a citizen's committee to be proud of, and they just learned a very hard lesson.  The world is indeed an ugly place.
