Police Blotter
Local police respond every day to heated and unusual situations. The following is one item pulled from the daily police blotter. SANDUSKY POLICE FRIDAY, JUNE 8 11:43 p.m. -- 1500 block Camp St., police officer saw girl start a fire on sidewalk, extinguished it and contacted mother. Girl, 13, said she set a sock on fire because it smelled.

At least the sock didn't contain a foot.....that is one lucky hot foot that didn't exist.  But a smelly sock goes in the trash!  A future pyromaniac perhaps???  At age 13 she should know better.
