SANDUSKY POLICE WEDNESDAY, MAY 30 4:42 p.m. - 2500 block Monroe St., garbage truck driver caught three boys playing on equipment, police lectured boys on dangers of playing around heavy machinery and turned them loose. Maybe they planned to be garbage collectors too. 

You should have instructed them on the correct use instead of discouraging them.  Now they will be confused.  Next time have THEM go collect the trash barrells and load them into the hopper and pull the lever. 

You could be creating a traning session for the next garage collector.  Shame on you for your lack of understanding on an opportunity to train the future garbage collectors of America.  LOL

it sounds to me that the boys were playing on the equipment down at lions park and the garbage truck driver saw them and called the police.

These kids were playing on the equipment not dropping off trash. What would happen if one of those kids fell into the dumpster? It could cause serious injury so they need to be instructed about the seriousness of playing on or around the equipment.
