Local police respond every day to heated and unusual situations. The following is one item pulled from the daily police blotter. ERIE COUNTY SHERIFF SUNDAY, FEB. 26 9:58 p.m. - Ohio 61 and Ohio 2, Berlin Twp., deputies pulled over car that veered across white line three times, car clocked at 45 mph in a 65 mph zone, driver told deputies he'd had four beers; Edward Rindfleisch, 44, Cleveland, operating vehicle intoxicated, 0.113 BAC, driving under suspension, driving in marked lanes. I'm glad they took this person off the road before he hurt or killed someone.




I've seen people drive just as bad if not worse , texting .  This lady almost drove right into the side of me going down route 2 , her doing 75 to 80 mph. and me cruising at 65. I swerved over to avoid the collision and when I looked at her , she never once took her eyes off her phone . To me this is just as bad as driving drunk .
