So, did this 8 year old child get himself ready for school, or did a parent who has no clue as to what is going on in this child's life get him ready?
But the kids were back in school on Tuesday. Sandusky went back on Monday.
Wouldn't that be Monday January 2 and Tuesday January 3rd? I know Norwalk didn't go back until the 3rd.
:( That makes me sad. Poor kid. I too would like to know what the parents were thinking or doing that morning.
Bonus! Extra day off!
Awwww This is really a sad story. What were his parents thinking??????? That poor kid. Get him a big cookie and cup of hot coco. Or better yet, go get his parents and handcuff them to the bus stop until tomorrow morning.
I know from experiance that sometimes mistakes are made by the parents and the kids after the hectic christmas hoildays, Ended up driving my kids to school on the day we all thought school was to begin. So it is not always the parents fault (or the kids) just a mistake made in the season of hectic schedules.
Come on , it's a win , win situation . I still get that thrill when I hear we ( THE KIDS ) get a snow day or better yet , a day off that was un expected just because of a lack of attention . I bet this kid was happy as can be when told school wasn't in .
omg there goes another bad parent not knowing when their child goes back to school all i can is wow an shakin my head at the stupidity we have around here
We used to do this to our kids all the time. My wife and I would be inside laughing at them, but we would only let them stand there for a couple hours at the most. The best one was when we pretended that mommy was dead. You should have seen their faces. LOL.
Hey Bigbird! Maybe instead of sitting here on the computer and defending negligent parents, you should go back to school and get your GED. You are "shaking your head at the stupidity around here", yet you can't even spell, use punctuation, or write a complete sentence. Wow! The irony...nice try though.
